Welcome to Progress 165 Essentials

The Progress 165 Essentials program is built around one core principle: solid foundations lead to lasting results. The first 6 weeks are focused on establishing the habits, systems and understanding what is needed to support long-term progress.

Everyone progresses at a different pace. The steps below are laid out in order to help you get the most from your training and avoid common early mistakes.

Throughout the program, you’ll be directed to specific pages and resources to support you where needed.

This phase is about building momentum, confidence and clarity. Get the foundations right now, and everything that follows becomes easier and more enjoyable.

SECTION 1: ONBOARDING

Step 1: Set Your Baseline Stats

If a goal of yours is any type of fat loss or aesthetic change. We need to get your starting stats in right away. This allows progress to be measured accurately and adjustments to be made with confidence.

Step 2: Tracking Your Workouts

Welcome to this quick tutorial on how to track your workouts using the Progress 165 app. This guide will help you navigate your workouts, log your sets, reps and weights, and understand how to get the most out of the app.

Step 3: Tracking Your Food And Drink

To start with I will get you to at least take a photo journal of your food intake for a few days. This step introduces simple food and drink tracking as a way to raise awareness. By understanding the breakdown of your foods, you can make better choices more consistently without overthinking it.

Step 4: Your Energy Balance Explained

Understanding your energy balance is the first real piece of education in this program.

If you don’t understand how energy in versus energy out works, you’ll end up guessing and guessing leads to slow progress.

Ok, so hopefully you've done all that and now appreciate that there is more to do than show up to the gym and workout. All this lays the foundations that make everything else in the program, simpler, smoother and far more effective.

Once this is done, things ease up. We focus on lifestyle changes that are going to make the biggest difference. The next section will take you through the 6 key habits you'll need to work on to get the best results not only from the program but towards your day to day life and well being.
